Standard Filters (Individual):
Disposable Standard Filters (Individual) are replacement filters for ResMed’s S9 series of CPAP machines. These include the Elite, Escape, Autoset, H5i, ResMed Power Station II, and Climate Control.
Unlike many other models of CPAP machines that use a combination of a reusable foam filter in combination with a disposable fine filter, these are the only filters that the S9 series use. ResMed’s S9 series of CPAP machines use these disposable standard filters to trap unwanted particles from the air. AG Industries’ disposable standard filter helps clean and purify the air you breathe in so that you obtain the full benefits of your CPAP therapy, one of which is better sleep.
These filters are sold individually, so remember to buy two or three to avoid running out of filters when you need one the most.
Hypoallergenic Filters (Individual):
Disposable Hypoallergenic Filters (Individual) by AG Industries (Part No. AG36855) are replacement filters suitable for ResMed’s S9 series of CPAP machines. These include the Elite, Escape, Autoset, H5i, ResMed Power Station II, and Climate Control. Each disposable hypoallergenic filter traps both large- and fine-sized particles from the air so that you breathe in only clean, fresh air.
To extend the lifetime of your CPAP machine and help it work properly at pressurizing air, a CPAP filter must be used. These filters trap dirt from the air taken in by the machine to protect the air you breathe and also to protect the machine from being clogged and damaged by accumulated particles.
While most machines use high-grade foam as filters, ResMed’s S9 series of machines are unique in that they use a type of fibrous material in a two-layer design to catch dirt, pollen, cat hair, dander, and other allergy-causing particles. This feature ensures that even CPAP patients with respiratory allergies can fully reap the benefits of their CPAP therapy even after the filter in their S9 series machine is replaced.
Disposable HypoAllergenic Filters for S9 Series CPAP Machines (1 pack) must be replaced regularly. Simply discard your old filter and put in a new one into your machine. Regularly replacing old filters minimizes the likelihood of contamination of your CPAP machine with dirt from your old filter. Each CPAP filter is sold individually, so we recommend buying two or three at a time so that you never run out.
