Coban™ Self-Adherent Wrap is a non-sterile bandage that functions like tape but without the typical sticky adhesive. Its porous and non-woven material sticks to itself when wrapped around any part of your body. When used properly, the wrap can provide up to 23mmHg of pressure, making it ideal for compression purposes.
With this self-adherent wrap, you no longer need to worry about using tape or pins. Manufactured by 3M, a trusted international company, The Coban Self-Adherent Wrap features secure wrapping so the compression it provides is both consistent and reliable.
It is used in medical applications such as to helping to promote blood clotting after blood draws. And because of its lightweight material, it does not slip against your skin and does not stick to skin or hair, making it ideal to help treat leg ulcers as well as other injuries that require wrapping, such as sprains.
When used during excercise, the wrap absorbs shock and helps provide protection against jarring and accidental twists. Many athletes also use this wrap to help reduce swelling and preventing or controlling bruising.
